Meet Melissa

IT ALL BEGAN WITH A JAR...

In 2017, I was busy raising my two little boys while yearning for more time for creativity and fellowship with friends. I purchased a Cricut to start making shirts... but soon realized I hated being upstairs by myself in my craft room (I'm an extrovert!!) In December 2017, I said to my husband “I’m going to create a craft club” and I did just that.

And it all started with a jar, in my kitchen, with six other women. We created our first craft --memory jars-- in January 2018, and the following month we grew to 20 women crafting in my garage. I called it the 'Jovial Craft Club.'

From there, people were asking me to do private parties for them and their friends in their homes or garages, so I began hosting 'Pulp & Pine DIY Mobile Workshops & Paint Parties' throughout 2018 in addition to my monthly craft club.

To keep up with demand (and not have to lug around heavy materials all the time!) I opened my own studio in April 2019 on Alexandria Pike in Anderson.

The community wrapped their arms around me and my business, and their devotion allowed us to outgrow that little studio in just shy of two years -- into a 3100 square ft building at 910 Main Street!

I never imagined I would be where I am now from that lonely little upstairs craft room. Dreams do come true, and I’ll forever be grateful to all of you for choosing to follow me, trust me and encourage me to do this for YOU!  God is so good, all you have to do is listen and trust.

Eternally grateful to all of you!

❤️ Melissa
